The rapid rise of TAI in recent years with the strong infrastructure it has established and with new investments has no doubt put it among the global aerospace companies that offer speedy and effective solutions to changing threats not only in Turkey but also in international markets. Since its founding 25 years ago, its evolution from an assembly company to one that manufactures its own products and capabilities has gained a momentum with the Undersecretary of Defence Industry Murad Bayar with national strategies appropriate to the changing world and with the President Muharrem Dörtkasli and his dynamic team with their dependable, courageous and innovative vision.
As of 2009, TAI has realized 175 million USD in exports working with 32 customers in 15 countries. TAI continues its activities not only in the American, European and Middle East markets but also in the Asia-Pacific region as well and aside from its capabilities in the modernization of F16s, C130s and T38s and the design and manufacture of structural components but also with exports of indigenous UAV systems and the ATAK helicopters, TAI is expected to accomplish significant achievements in the years ahead.
